- (FINISHED) Hot tub collection, To empty the hot tub the night before collection, you can place the end of a hose pipe in the hot tub, dropping it straight down into the water so that it lies on the bottom. Turn on the hose until water and no bubbles are coming from the end of the hose. Turn off the hose, disconnect it from the faucet, and take the end of the hose to the nearest drain allowing the water to pour by gravity. Or you can pull the plug inside the hot tub on the floor this will also slowly drain through the night. You can turn the power off but please keep the plug dry. I wouldn’t need anyone there if you do this, just access and can you please leave the tap adapter and chlorine tub outside.
